Retire Your Bucket - The New Detailing Rig Is Here

You won't be breaking your back over detailing ever again.

Here’s why:
– The Detailing Rig comfortably seats people of any height
– To get lower on the car the removable cushion acts as a kneeling pad
– Additional fifth caster adds more stability and maneuverability
– Bottle racks and tool tray carry tools/products with you as you work
– Bucket dolly saves your back from moving the bucket around

What we would like to see in the future:
– Different size options for the cup holder to hold larger beverages
– Various color options for casters and cup holder
– Extra hardware for repairs or replacement of lost hardware

We’re sure your chiropractor is a nice person, but with this new product you won’t be seeing them as often. MYCHANIC’s “Detailing Rig” frees you from the immobile paint bucket you’ve been sitting on for all these years when detail day comes around. No more bending over to pick up and move that bucket when switching from cleaning one section to another.

With five casters to keep you stable and mobile, the Detailing Rig easily and flawlessly travels over debris and cracks. Maneuverability seems to have increased with the addition of the fifth wheel compared to the standard four-wheel stools I’m used to using. The overall feel of the rig when moving about the garage in the seated position seems more solid and precise.

The most convenient aspect of the Detailing Rig is the having all of your detailing tools travel with you as you go from one end of a car to the other. With the recessed storage tool/hardware tray, two spray bottle racks, and an integrated bucket dolly with bucket and grit trap, everything you need is always within reach. No longer will you have to juggle your detailing spray, tire shine and or any other tool you may be using at the time every time you need to move on to the next part.

But you can’t drink the soapy water in your bucket, even if you strain out the debris. Don’t worry, MYCHANIC didn’t leave you thirsty, it included a cup holder mounted conveniently to the side of the rig and it accepts any standard size water bottle or beverage can. Sorry, your giant thirst buster probably won’t fit.

This Detailing Rig was especially useful for my Subaru WRX and it’s 15-spoke wheels. They are absolutely my least favorite part of the detailing process, but with the Detailing Rig it was more fluid and comfortable to spend the extra 15-20 minutes on each wheel. Due to some modifications, my WRX is also fairly low so I appreciated the ability to remove the cushion from the detailing rig and using it as a knee rest when cleaning the lower sections of the car.

After seeing the quality of the Detailing Rig, I may be looking into getting one of their other products like the 2T Hybrid Floor Jack.
