The MYCHANIC brand continues to expand its offerings to automotive enthusiasts that prefer to “turn their own wrench” as the company slogan states.

We’ve been enamored by their LED task light offerings, using them almost daily in our garage, detached workshop, and even on road trips and as part of our hurricane preparedness kit (your author is based out of Florida).

Recent product developments by the MYCHANIC staff have expanded beyond its line of LED lighting into shop/garage level products such as mechanic’s seats, floor jacks, and more. With an eye on style, yet keeping all important function, strength, and usefulness at the top of the list, MYCHANIC has indeed developed some great new products you’ll want in your home garage or workshop. We had MYCHANIC ship us out a few samples to unbox and evaluate with real world usage. Take a look.

Starting off with its 2-ton Hybrid Floor Jack, we have the actual shipping box (minus the shipping straps). As a heavy mail order product you want to be certain that it arrives in one piece, and it did so easily.

With the lid off you can see how well everything is packed with heavy cardboard dividers. The two-piece jack handle is packaged along the outer edges, otherwise the jack comes fully assembled and ready to use.

The two-piece handle has a knurled end for easy gripping and rotating of the handle, while the included foam body protector will prevent scratches and dings along the lower body line when using the jack.
