We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) to help support our Product Development and Operations Teams to manage products developed under the FrostGuard^® and MYCHANIC^® brands. Working with the Cross Functional Teams, the PM will be responsible for managing projects from concept to customer shipment. The PM will act as a liaison between DELK headquarters and contract manufacturers to communicate project requirements and ensure project timeline milestones are tracked and completed on time.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the product development project schedule.
• Gantt chart creation and task management.
• Correspond with overseas manufacturing to ensure all deliverables are provided to the manufacturer by required deadlines. Communication outside normal business hours will be required.
• Maintain and organize all project documentation related to tracking development, product BOMs, specifications, and quote forms.
• Projects will be managed from research concept phase through pilot production and involve any revisions or engineering changes during active life cycle of product.
• Monitor projects daily to identify and minimize project delays.
• Ensure changes to the project deliverables are clearly communicated and approved.
• Cross-functional communication required with all internal departments including Product Development, Operations, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Finance.
• Report clear and timely project status to all departments and senior management.
• Must have the ability to challenge manufacturers and ask appropriate questions to help deliver projects on budget with required specifications.
• Conduct project reviews post key project stages and share learnings for future projects as best practice.
• Recommend and create new processes and protocols for better project tracking, project execution, and workflow improvements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

NOTE: International travel required. Approximately two (2) annual trips to China.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Chinese manufacturing and overseas travel
• Background in technical field of consumer goods
• Involvement with consumer goods from concept through product delivery
• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business related concentration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience required
